“Sneaky Dog Diplomacy”: How Jeffrey Epstein installed a Russian girl from his harem directly into the halls of global power
I was scrolling through the Epstein files when “sneaky dog” caught my eye—the nickname appeared so frequently (nearly 1,400 times!) that I had to dig deeper. At first, it looked like the usual Epstein universe: cringey sexual flirting, him instructing her on how to bring “gifts,” and her promising to do her best. Just another harem story, the infamous pyramid scheme, I thought.
Only two things stood out at first: the girl was Asian—even though Epstein was a known racist who openly disliked Asians—and her demands for money were constant. Still, it felt like just another minor story in the files.
But the real shock came when I checked where this “Epstein girl” is today.
Renata Bolotova appears from at least 2018 on the research desk of the International Peace Institute—the very UN-linked organization whose leadership was later exposed for being on Epstein's payroll.
Terje Rød-Larsen, a prominent Norwegian diplomat, resigned from his position as President and CEO of the IPI in October 2020 following intense public scrutiny over his personal and professional links to Jeffrey Epstein.
He faced pressure after it was revealed that he had secured a personal loan of $130,000 from Epstein in 2013 and that the IPI had received donations from Epstein-linked foundations totaling approximately $650,000 between 2011 and 2019.
Beyond the $130,000 personal loan previously known, new reports allege that Epstein left $10 million to Rød-Larsen’s children in a 2019 will, a claim that has triggered significant diplomatic fallout in Norway.
